French Fries

# INGREDIENTS
|
|
- 2 large russet potatoes
|
|
- 2 cups ice cubes
|
|
- 1 Tbsp peanut oil, or olive oil
|
|
- 1 tsp salt
|
|
# INSTRUCTIONS
|
|
1. Peel and cut the potatoes into 3/8-by-3/8-inch batons.
|
|
2. Put them in a bowl with cold water and two cups ice cubes for at least 30 minutes. Drain them and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
|
|
3. Preheat the Airfryer to 360°F (182°C).
|
|
4. Combine potatoes and oil in a large bowl and toss to coat. Transfer them to the Airfryer basket. Set the timer for 25 minutes.
|
|
5. Every 5 minutes slide out the basket and shake the french fries.
|
|
6. Fry until the time is up and the fries are golden brown. Season to taste with salt or french fry seasoning and serve immediately.
