INGREDIENTS
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 Tbsp peanut oil, or olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- Peel and cut the potatoes into 3/8-by-3/8-inch batons.
- Put them in a bowl with cold water and two cups ice cubes for at least 30 minutes. Drain them and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
- Preheat the Airfryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Combine potatoes and oil in a large bowl and toss to coat. Transfer them to the Airfryer basket. Set the timer for 25 minutes.
- Every 5 minutes slide out the basket and shake the french fries.
- Fry until the time is up and the fries are golden brown. Season to taste with salt or french fry seasoning and serve immediately.
